- Can I adjust the temperature of the unit at any point in time?
- Yes! You can change the temperature settings at any time during your rental period. There are instructions stickered close to the controller on each unit and we email you a copy for your records.
- Can I move the unit ?
- No. Our refrigerated trailers are set in place and not to be moved due to insurance guidelines.
- What is a defrost and why does my trailer need it?
- Defrost settings are critical to keep your rental cooler or freezer running efficiently. The indoor unit will freeze moisture to the evaporator coil and in a short amount of time the unit will stop cooling. The defrost temporarily ceases the refrigeration cycle and thaws out any ice buildup. On a freezer unit you may here the heaters popping and steaming while they do their job.
- What if I need the rental unit longer than initially anticipated?
- We recommend you contact us immediately to be sure we have availability.
- Can I use my refrigerated rental trailer immediately.
- We recommend you allow the unit to get down to your target temperature. This will vary based on ambient outdoor temps. In 85 degree weather with exposure to sun our cooler and freezer trailers will get down to temp within 1 hour.
